Prioritising information security at the UK LLC
Enjoying information security surprises me. My PhD and subsequent research focused on evolutionary biology, but a move to Australia tempted me to try wider roles at the Menzies School of Health Research, including a stint with their Kidney Health Team. Fast forward a couple of years and I took up the position of Research Manager at the UK Renal Registry in Bristol.

The UK LLC Origin Story
The UK Longitudinal Linkage Collaboration (UK LLC) is a national resource for COVID-19 research. It’s a new and globally unique Trusted Research Environment (TRE) that offers predictable and efficient access to longitudinal data for researchers and analysts across the UK. Through a single application the UK LLC TRE offers pre-pandemic and pandemic data from more than 20 longitudinal population studies linked with health data.
