Our Trusted Research Environment (TRE) is a Windows 10 remote desktop environment. After the application process, each approved researcher will be given access to a series of project-specific database views.
We support researchers in using their preferred software packages. The following packages are pre-installed in the Trusted Research Environment: SQL Server Management Studio, Python, R and RStudio, Stata, Jupyter Notebooks, and SPSS. We are also happy to discuss other options with researchers who may prefer to use other software.
