UK LLC supports many of the UK’s “consented cohorts” and our infrastructure forms part of the UK’s wonderful tradition of following participants health and wellbeing over lifetimes and generations.
We are a partnership of more than 20 Longitudinal Population Studies (LPS) and their expert staff, SeRP infrastructure specialists, environmental exposure modellers, and the central team of data curators, governance and public involvement experts.
Our partner LPS range from the Medical Research Council National Survey of Health and Development, the oldest and longest running of the British birth cohort studies which follows the lives of babies born during one week in 1946 across England, Wales and Scotland to Understanding Society, which allow researchers and policy makers to understand how life in the UK is changing, and what stays the same.
With more UK LPS joining, this interdisciplinary partnership provides a centralised record linkage and analysis platform for the research community. This forms an unparalleled data capability and opens new scientific opportunities for the research community.
